How to Block Firefox from Creating New Windows with a Tab Drag and Drop
There are a number of notable improvements to Firefox in 74, but the inclusion of new features depends on the tabs that these browsers run.

So basically, there is a chance that when you drag a tab to a new position in the tab bar, Firefox goes wrong, and instead of moving the tab to a new position, it is in a new window. Opens.
If this happens often, it may be best to simply disable the disconnected tabs completely, as this will help prevent you from recurring such accidents in the future.
Fortunately, Mozilla has included such an option in the latest Firefox update, though it is not included in the settings screen, but rather in the experimental flags section. This means that you need to manually disable this feature from the flags screen, at least until Mozilla makes a dedicated toggle in the Firefox configuration screen.
So the first step is to launch the flags screen simply by launching Firefox and typing the following code into the address bar.

You should then see the flag with a valid value in Firefox - this means it is moving and running in the browser, so you have to change it to false to disable it. To do so, you can click on the toggle button beside it.
Mozilla Firefox 74:
After disabling the disconnected tabs, you can continue to use regular drag and drop in Firefox, including changing the order of the tabs in the tab bar. But on the other hand, creating a new Firefox window will no longer be possible by dragging and dropping a tab out of the browser window. However, it is not necessary to have a problem, as you can still create a new window from a particular tab using several methods.
The fastest one is to move to tabs> move tabs> new windows, so it doesn't take more than just a few clicks.
Firefox 74 is now available for all supported platforms, and you can install it using the built-in auto-update engine. Along with this release, Mozilla is also undergoing a rapid release, which means major updates for the new version of the browser will be posted at a faster pace.
Earlier, Mozilla offered a new update to Firefox every six weeks, but with version 74 74, the application will be updated every four weeks. In other words, Firefox 75 is live now in April, followed by Firefox 76 in May. This new approach will be available on all supported platforms, including both Windows and Mac.
