While the old edition was excellent, the new edition offers so much more. It goes much deeper into the explanations as well as offering detailed images of the muscle markings, as opposed to the old edition, which briefly mentioned the muscle attachments but did not go into detail.
I am very pleased with this book, and as a student, I found it was one of the few textbooks that actually helped me learn in a class. Color diagrams of muscle attachments and shaft cross-sections make this volume a significant advance from previous editions.
